When planning a vacation, there are many hours of research spent to make sure everything goes smoothly while you get to see everything you want to see. To save everyone’s eyesight and time, I thought I would share my insight on the top three websites I found beneficial to my successful travel planning for Rome!
1. Tripadvisor:

Tripadvisor will always be my go-to when I am traveling somewhere new. It has nearly everything a person could need: restaurants, things to do, hotels, vacation rentals, etc. Using this, I was able to find popular locations most visitors go to. There are plenty of reviews which makes it easy to see what other people personally enjoyed during their experience and what they recommend!
2. Tiqets:

One aspect of the trip that is necessary to plan ahead of time is buying tickets for museums and attractions. It is easy to waste precious time in lines and suddenly doing Rome in 48 hours is impossible. Tiqets.com provides a series of ticket options even as little as one day in advance. A perfect website for a budget friendly trip!
3. RomeSite.com

RomeSite listed the top 25 attractions to see in Rome and had sites that were less heard of. Sometimes it is nice to learn about historical landscapes and monuments and not have a massive crowd around you. This website explains some background information on the sites listed and even has links for tickets and websites to learn more information.
The three websites listed above (Tripadvisor, Tiqets, and RomeSite) were the websites I personally visited the most during my planning and even during my trip. My friends and I hopped on Tripadvisor to find the best late night gelato store, Tiqets for cheap entry into the museums, and HelpTourists to see the times of every sight we wanted to go to. Using these sites contributed greatly to us seeing the city in 48 hours!
